When to choose the Single
The Single is the natural entry point into Hooplug®: it lets you try the quick-release system on a single drum — usually your most-used snare or tom — with the lowest investment. It’s the right choice if you’re not yet sure about converting your whole kit, if you only need quick-release on one specific part of it, or if you want to build your Hooplug® set piece by piece over time.
When to choose the Full Pack
The Full Pack makes sense if you change heads often across multiple drums — in rehearsal, on tour, or in the studio — and want quick-release on the whole kit from day one. The kit includes 5 Hooplug® (3 hoops plus 2 Snare 14″): bought separately, the same components would cost around €505, so the Full Pack saves you about 25%.
Frequently asked questions
Can I start with the Single and move to the Full Pack later?
Yes. Hooplug® Single is added one drum at a time: you can start with a single hoop and complete the kit whenever you want.
Does the Full Pack include the snare?
Yes, the Full Pack includes 2x Hooplug® Snare 14″ in addition to the 3 hoops of your choice.
How much do I save by choosing the Full Pack instead of buying separately?
About 25%: 3x Single + 2x Snare 14″ bought separately would cost around €505, versus €379 for the Full Pack.
Is the 20″ size available in the Full Pack?
Not currently: the selectable hoop sizes for the Full Pack are 10″, 12″, 16″, and 22″.
Is Hooplug® compatible with my drum?
Hooplug® works with drums that have an even number of tension rods and with any hoop type (triple flange, die-cast, wood). It’s not compatible with drums that have an odd number of tension rods or non-removable suspension mounts. If in doubt, email info@hooplug.com with your drum’s brand and model.
